About Me

Max is a young writer in his early twenties studying a Bachelor's of Fine Arts at Queensland University of Technology and working on the manuscript of his first full-length novel, Rainworld. Born and raised in South-East Queensland, Max grew up running amok in the bush and gardens of his school, family home, and national park he lived by. His thirst for adventure was soon matched by his blossoming fascination with reading, writing, and storytelling, and he has been creating his own adventures ever since.

My Work and Writing

Max has recently had his first published work printed in this year's Spring Edition of ScratchThat Magazine. He is also currently writing the manuscript for Rainworld, a crime-noir and climate fiction thriller and his first full-length novel. Max's other works include a variety of short stories, poems, and a short-form science-fiction novella, formats and works he looks forward to continuing to develop and improve. His literary inspirations and fascinations continue to be science fiction, crime, fantasy, and historical fiction and non-fiction, as well as the works of authors such as H. G. Wells, Agatha Christie, John Wyndham, and J. R. R. Tolkien.
